who i am
If we haven’t met, my name is Marlyn (like the Marlin fish)!
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and while I was a K-6 teacher for awhile, God had other plans for me. I was able to work from home and keep my son -now we have 3 kiddos! - by leaving teaching and becoming a virtual assistant.
One of my first clients was an amazing Squarespace designer who saw something in me that I couldn’t even see in myself yet. We began working together and it has been almost three years now!
Working in Squarespace for so long, while also having multiple clients in different sectors of business, gave me a unique point of view that I am now able to bring to my own design clients. It includes knowledge in marketing, SEO, brand voice, you name it. So when we work together, I am not just designing a pretty website for you, to me it’s about “how can I set up this business for success at maximum?”
When I’m not working, you can find me on our NC homestead cooking, reading, lifting weights, or hiking!
